Model Description

The ATD-H303 is a Finite Element (FE) representation of the Hybrid III 3-Year-Old Child dummy hardware.

The ATD-H303 child dummy model belongs to the Hybrid III family. It was developed using the same proven modelling techniques as the HIII-5%, HIII-50% and HIII-95% models.

Some characteristics of the ATD-H303 are:

  • Prestressed joint buffers
  • Technical insight through accurate implementation of the geometry
  • Detailed image of foam and vinyl geometry using CT scanning
