Finite element models are indispensable in the development of modern vehicle and aircraft structures, as well as occupant protection and seating systems. They are used by manufacturers across the automotive and aerospace industries worldwide from the concept phase onwards to virtually ensure the required safety standards at an early stage.
We are a long-standing distribution partner of renowned manufacturers of FE dummy models, hip, leg and head impactors, as well as FE barrier models. Our dedicated support team is happy to assist you with integration into your development environment.
ATD MODELS GmbH specialises in developing FE dummy models.
The models are used in the automotive and aerospace industries for crash simulations and the development of restraint systems, interior components, and seats.
Since 2017, CDH AG has distributed the products in North America and Japan, providing support to customers in these regions.
Elemance, LLC
Elemance, LLC specialises in the biomechanical modelling of the human body and associated finite element analysis (FEA). The company is also a partner of the Global Human Body Model Consortium (GHBMC).
Together, they have developed various virtual human body models (GHBMC models) with different anthropometries. These models can be used to simulate and analyse the biomechanical behaviour of the human body in great detail. This allows new vehicles and products to be thoroughly analysed for potential injury risks and effectively optimised during the early development stages.
GHBMC models are used in a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, sports equipment, defence and healthcare.
Since November 2025, CDH AG has been a partner of Elemance distributing the GHBMC models as an authorized reseller in the European and Japanese markets and providing technical support to customers in these regions.
GNS mbH provides FE barrier models for crash simulation.
These models are essential for designing vehicle structures and developing restraint systems.
In 2021, CDH AG took over the distribution of these products and customer support in the European, North American, and Japanese markets.
Phitec Ingegneria Srl, in collaboration with its partner CELLBOND, has created a comprehensive suite of FE models for child crash-test dummies, encompassing all major age groups.
The Q-Dummy models are used in the development of occupant protection, seat safety, and the design of restraint systems.
CDH AG has been responsible for the distribution of these products and customer support in the Japanese and North American markets since 2023.
