30 Years Virtual Engineering Excellence

The CDH AG was founded in 1990 by Mladen Chargin, Dr. Leo W. Dunne, and Dave Herting as “Gesellschaft für angewandte Strukturmechanik mbH” (Company for Applied Structural Mechanics) with the vision of specifically serving the growing demand for specialized FEM engineering services in the automotive and aerospace industries.

With their in-depth expertise in FEM software, especially MSC.Nastran®, the three founders developed innovative CAE solutions for highly demanding simulation tasks at an early stage. The first products were launched on the market in 1995 and continue to set standards today.

Since then, we have continuously driven forward the development of innovative CAE products – always aiming to solve complex challenges in smarter, more efficient, and user-friendly ways. Our combination of CAE engineering expertise and state-of-the-art software technology makes us a reliable partner in virtual product development.
