Nastran Delivery Database Update Release for CDH/AMLS 5.3 and CDH/FastFRS 2.3 (revision 274)

Dear AMLS/FastFRS user,

we are pleased to inform you about the update to the Nastran Delivery Database for running CDH/AMLS version 5.3 and CDH/FastFRS version 2.3 (revision 274).

1. Nastran Delivery Databases (DDB) 

In this release the DDB for the following versions of Nastran are available:

MSC: 2021.4, 2022.4, 2023.1, 2023.2, 2023.3, 2023.4, 2024.1, 2024.2, 2025.1, 2025.2

NX/SC: 2021.2, 2212, 2306, 2312, 2406, 2412, 2506, 2512

Cautions – End of support warnings:

• This is the last AMLS delivery database release that officially supports MSC-Nastran 2021.4 and Simcenter/NX-Nastran 2021.2 by default.

The following items have been updated in MSC and NX/SC DDB:

• Added support for MSC Nastran 2025.2 and Simcenter (NX) Nastran 2512
• Added support for AMLS parameter RVEL in superelement reduction with MSC Nastran
• Improved support for isolated panel-participation requests (PFPANEL / PANCON). It is no longer necessary to also request PRESSURE or DISPLACEMENT output in order to output participation data.
• Improved support for PARAM, W4 in transient-response calculations for coupled fluid-structure analysis (sol 112, NX Nastran)
• Correction to the output of fluid degrees of freedom in ODS calculations (NX Nastran)

2. Nastran Delivery Data Bases (DDB) for Advanced Acoustic Solver Interface (AASI)

CDH Advanced Acoustic Solver Interface (AASI) is a new special DDB which offers a number of more advanced features compared to the standard AMLS DDBs. The current release includes the following features:

• CDH/AASI-PEM is a new AMLS/FastFRS based interface to efficiently solve acoustic simulations containing porous elastic materials (PEM) from MSC Nastran/ACTRAN.
• CDH/AASI-FastPPF is a new highly efficient algorithm for computing Panel Participation Factors (PPF).
• CDH/AASI-MonteCarlo is a new highly efficient implementation of Monte-Carlo simulations using a non-parametric method (NPVM).

The supported Nastran Versions by AASI DDB in this release are 

• MSC 2024.1, 2024.2, 2025.1, 2025.2.

Updates in this release:

• Added support for AMLS parameter RVEL in superelement reduction.
• Improved support for isolated panel-participation requests (PFPANEL). 
• It is no longer necessary to also request DISPLACEMENT output in order to output participation data.

NOTE: Use of AASI DDB requires a CDH/AASI license in addition to the AMLS/FastFRS license.
