Dear Generator user,

We have released a new version of GNS Generator4 Release Version 2.0.0 is now available.

    • Convert construction to Geom/Bars: 12 mph area lines and projection (to airbag group) lines are also converted
    • 12 mph zone: Added ‘Remove Point’ to remove points from 12 mph zone lines
    • 12 mph zone: Added ability to calculate zone with user defined cross section positions
    • Rear Pillar: Added GUI for ‘No Overlapping’ option (Skips check for / removal of overlapping structure in line 8 creation)
    • URPL: Added ‘Abs Y in Name’ switch for Front/Rear Cross-Section points. If enabled y value is used without sign in point name
  • Pedestrian
    • Euro NCAP v9: Introduced Bicyclist points
    • Post – NCAP Grid: Updated default value for maximum score (now 18, was 24)
    • Added US NCAP 2024 regulation
    • Raster Positioning: In case test zone is used impact points at test zone corners are created
    • Added raster positioning for lower leg impactors
  • PreSimulation
    • Tools can be transformed via Mouse in Variables tab
    • Tool properties can be identified
    • Damping action can use variable values
    • Inactive items can be hidden in animation preview
    • Added new type ‘Curve’ for move actions
    • Added new type ‘MultiLayer’ for Stitch Actions
  • Seat
    • Added Export of current position as transformation file
    • Added module mechanism to create a seat definition
