Q-Dummy Package
In the year 2018 the FE Q-Dummy development started as a response to new Euro NCAP 2020 safety regulations, focusing on Q6, Q10 and Q10 upgrade kit requirements.
Now Q0, Q1, Q1.5, Q3, Q6, Q6s, Q10B, Q10B-SK, Q10B+APTS, Q10C, and Q10C+APTS dummy models are available.
FE Model Details
- FE models represent the full geometric details of the original hardware dummies.
- All sensors are modeled as solid volumes.
- S-Track uses a kinematic mechanism to measure chest deflection.
- All models exhibit correct representation of mass and inertia.

ARTICULATION AND POSITIONING
To perform the articulation and positioning process as easily as possible, PHITEC has established collaboration relationships with software vendors to optimally support pre-processing tools including Beta CAE Ansa, GNS Generator 4, and Oasys Primer.
