The SC-MDB is used in the C-NCAP 2025 side-impact crashworthiness evaluations.

  • Trolley with pressure air wheels, getting model motion closer to reality.
  • Mass = 1700kg with given center of gravity.

Adhesive

Adhesive beams, gluing honeycomb to cladding sheets are able to fail under according load.

Pressure Air Wheels

Trolley wheels with tires of pressure air, getting model motion closer to reality.

Two versions of the GNS SC-MDB barrier model are available, considering enabled or disabled gravity in your simulation.

Sophisticated

The barrier models was calibrated using several hardware tests with vehicle like lateral structures as impact bodies in different positions.
