CDH/VAO V2026.2

Dear VAO user,

 We are pleased to inform you that CDH/VAO release version 2026.2 is now available.

 CDH/VAO 2026.2 release includes following new features and enhancements:

• Support of Nastran B2PP matrix input data for road noise simulations with modal tires in full vehicle NVH models 
• Updated AMLS DDB in MSC Nastran 2024.2 for output of B2PP data in VAO model creation
• Updated UGVX utilities for input of B2PP data in VAO model creation
• Enhanced memory management in UGVX for handling large sparse matrices

Cautions:

• Currently released AMLS DDBs do not yet support B2PP for VAO. Only MSC 2024.2 AMLS 5.3 DDB with datestamp 2026-04-30, available on CDH Cloud within the VAO 2026.2 release,  supports B2PP export for VAO. Future AMLS releases will support B2PP for VAO by default. 
• VAO 2026.2 is compiled by Matlab 2021a. Use of VAO 2026.2  requires installation of Matlab 2021a Runtime, which can be downloaded from Mathworks.  
• Note: CDH does not provide Matlab 2021a Runtime installation pack.
• VAO 2026.2 release contains compiled Matlab versions for the Linux platform only. A Matlab license is not required to run compiled VAO.

• Linux Redhat 7.9 and 8.x
